This is a museum located in Senshu Park and the fee of 100 yen was appropriate for the small building. Armor and weapons, maps, and a few other historical items were on display, but it only took us a short amount of time to visit.

This small museum focuses on the history of the Satake family that ruled Akita in the Tokugawa period. Lots of interesting armor, swords, etc.that are worth an hour or so if you are visiting the castle ruins. Unfortunately, there is not a lot of English...More
