Of the many trips I've taken to the North Fork Vineyards, we always end up back at Paumanok for the high-quality wine, great service, and warm atmosphere. It doesn't have the largest or most notable Tasting Room or property, but it still rates at the...More

We payed $40 for a tasting for two people. It was only a sip at each tasting. Very disappointed. Also, we love cheese and wine together. Asked if they had a cheese plate? She brought cheddar cheese and crackers wrapped up. On top of it...More

Wines were above average, we liked all three we tried. We were told what they were and that's about it, Given we were the ONLY ones in the place, I would have thought the staff could have pulled away from web surfing enough to give...More

Visited on Sunday, 9/16, staff was nice enough but they poured our wine tasting flight and that was it. They then just talked amongst themselves, no personal touch.

First discovered the Sauvignon Blanc at a local liquor store. Loved it so thought I’d give the tasting room a try. Great place! Chenin Blanc is amazing among others. Sat outside. Beautiful views of the vineyard. Friendly staff.

We visited at 11:00 a.m. on a Saturday, as the winery opened. I'm not sure our server was completely awake, as she was not very animated. We did enjoy some of the wines very much, although only being given 3 to taste is not very...More

Well, if you like your wine chilled, the Paumanok tasting room will make sure it stays COLD while you sip. On a visit on a chilly November Friday, the room's temperature limited our stay to just one tasting flight. A lovely setting, which would be...More

Heading back home from Montauk, we decided to check out this vineyard. Pets allowed which is a plus. Wine tasting well priced. Love their sweet wines particularly the Vin Rose and the semi dry riesling. Beautiful place. Very hospitable staff.

First Growth is a term the French use to designate a top of the line producer or vineyard, especially in Bordeaux and Burgundy. Certainly that term applies to Paumanok Vineyards. Long Island has several excellent wineries, but this one still stands out. Several days ago...More
