Its lovely to walk around the historical ruins, ranging from pre-historic to medieval. Then to sit in one of the street bars and have a nice relaxing beer as the sun goes down. Beautiful.

For any wanting to swim the walkways down to the beach can be sandy and unstable making the going rough. Not many services are available on the beach. It wasn't too crowded the weekend i visited.

It is always a nice place to visit especially with children, where they can enjoy walking by the sea in the ancient port of Jbeil and in the old streets full of history.
