like this mosque as it was a bit different to the usual mosque with its black dome, but did not go inside

A beautifully constructed mosque with influence of Acheh traditional architecture. This place is a must visit. Make sure you bring you best camera and took plenty of photos. Came during the day and again visit at night. You will get two beautiful piece of pictures on different scenery.

One of the most beautiful mosques we've seen in Malaysia. The security guard got me a hijab to wear and explained a few things and showed us where we could take beautiful photos. He was very friendly and helpful

The Mosque is located in the center of Alor Setar, I believe it is a local must see. The building and square are very well maintained, easy accessible and free entry during not service time. Quite some people from all over the place are visiting this mosque.

Beautiful mosque with its domes and minarets, 18th century, right in town. Opposite is the Balai Besar and Balai Nobat and the old palace of the first Sultan which is now a museum and all are worth visiting.
