Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Monkeys were not nice at all. It was an uncomfortable visit and I did not feel safe. Th signs clearly tell you you enter at your own risk and I do believe there was a risk. Wish we hadn't gone and only entered for a few minutes as just wanted to get out. The smell in the caves was disgusting. Yes, we saw bats, if that is your thing.
Staff were nice an helpful

A rare view of Bats hanging upside down :D but you have to have a flash light or rent it there. A good part of Mangroves tour, better than So-called crocodile cave.

Torches available for rent at the entrance for 1RM. You can see bats, stalactites, monkeys etc. but tourism is causing too much nuisance to the animals, and there is literally no information shared at the location.

In taking a tour of the Geoforest at Kilim, the bat cave is a component of the trip so you might as well have a look. Not going to blow your mind but it's good to experience.

Just a tiny cave with bats. We were in and out of the place in 10 minutes as we were the only ones there. Bring your own flashlight as it gets really dark in there.

This is an interesting cave which is included as part of the Geo Park mangrove tour. You can pay extra to rent a torch. Plenty of bats to see hanging from the cave ceiling once you're inside. Plenty of tourists though so it's not perhaps as good as it could be.

This cave is usually visited as part of the mangrove tours and it is better to try to get there early before all the other boats arrive.
Part of the cave is very dark and narrow and at high tide you are walking through water.
The area where the bats are was spoilt for me by large parties of tourists flashing torches at the sleeping bats, shouting and some people were even smoking....!! So sad that some visitors seem to know nothing or care about the environment.
