About
Unlike other black-sand beaches, this sand isn't volcanic in nature but rather is streaked black by run-off from a nearby hot spring.

A stop break on way to Tanjung jetty. The sand is partially black. Though the beach is not very clean, one can stop for a break. There are souvenir shops also

It’s good for a short stop, look at it and move on :-D Nothing compared with green sand beach, Hawaii or purple sand beach, California.

A beach for visitors to spend time. The sand is really black. Worth a visit to see the black sand if you are at Langkawi island.
