Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My wife and I, we have been to Langkawi several times but had not yet experienced the freedom and the privacy of a holiday home on the island.
Last week we rented a Luxury Villa from a local vacation home owner who happens to be a renowned naturalist and a well established tour operator: Mr Eric Sinnaya, the Director of Morahols Travel ( https://www.facebook.com/morahols ).
It was awesome!
Once we had nicely settled in Eric’s sprawling mansion that overlooks the Bay of Kuah, is surrounded by tropical greenery and comes fully equipped with all the amenities and facilities that will make your stay truly comfortable, we were taken by Eric and his friends on a Sunset Cruise to the southernmost islands in the Langkawi archipelago.
From his Villa, Eric drove us straight to the marina where we hopped on board a stylish catamaran in late afternoon.
From the catamaran deck, the views are just simply breathtaking: the last rays of the sun cast reflections over the warm blue waters of the Andaman Sea dotted with clusters of perfectly untouched and geologically unique tropical islands featuring an unforgettable display of jutting cliffs, pristine white beaches, banks of coral and colourful marine life.
While the catamaran crew was cheerfully whipping up a scrumptious on-board BBQ dinner with grilled prawns, fish and chicken complemented by a multitude of veggies and salads, we truly enjoyed the Premium Open Bar with free-flow of wines, spirits and soft drinks.
Over a few cocktails on the upper sunset deck, we danced the night away to our favourite hits and made lots of new friends from different parts of the world... and we’re still keeping in touch with them!
However, the greatest hit of the trip was definitely The Salt Water Jacuzzi Net: while on deck the party was getting wilder, one of Eric's best friends grabbed those among us who were definitely good swimmers and, right before the eyes of an excited crowd... just simply took a plunge in the ocean along with them! We joined Eric's friend and hopped in the calm sea water astern the catamaran to reach the Jacuzzi Net: a unique place where to unwind and relax over a good drink while our body was being caressed by a gentle stream of salty water.
These sunset cruises in Langkawi operate 7 nights a week and are always a blast.
Congratulations to Eric and his team: he not only made our stay at his Villa truly memorable but also guided us on a wide range of activities focussed upon appreciating the unique landscape and biodiversity of some of the most secluded islands of the Langkawi archipelago.

This place was part of a 3 trip Island hopping we took, the boat ride was so lovely on the sea, the boat would stop for between 5 to 7 minutes and some food is thrown on the water for the eagles and they swoop down to get it. We didn't see many of them, I guess because the boats around were not many.

This Bay on Singha Besar Island is our 2nd stop during the RM 30 , 3 islands hopping tour.
The captain bring the boat to a still ,and we can observe those amazing eagles.
For 5 boats only 1 of them can feed the eagles , otherwise the eagles would become very fat ,or cannot hunt food by themselves.
Well, instead of chicken skin leftovers , they should feed them with natural foods ,like fish ,don't you think ?
Don't bother to take pictures by your smartphones, better if you make video on the whole process because it happened very fast , you can take decent pictures with your pro camera like the DSLR.
Beautiful eagles ,hope that they would be well preserved, let them breed and fly free.

We stopped here during our Island Hopping Excursion for some Eagle Feeding.
The boatman stops his boat and throws out food in the ocean. Within seconds numerous Eagles swoop and fetch the food from the ocean. This was a spectacular sight but very difficult to get any good close up photos.

We took the three islands hoping tour. The tour starts near sunrise dream cruise jetty. This island is the second island after Dayang Bunting Island. They had stopped near the island for 5-10 minutes only. However, there were eagles everywhere and jumping on the water for fishes. Very different experience for us! I have a small video which I can’t attach here.

It's so beautiful to be in a quiet mangroves area and seeing those great birds flying down to get their food. The boat trip is beautful as well!

One of the three islands I visited together with Beras Basah and Dayang Bunting Islands when I have my tour. Spent only 15mins and it was a good experience to see the Eagle's feeding.

I visited this island as the first destination island in full island hopping tour . they left us for one hour there. some of us went swimming in the sea, the others did para sailing .the para sailing here is just fantastic and it takes along time where the boat will take the balloon a whole circle trip around another near small island.the others just strolled on the beach which is very small and nice one.for the locals who came with us on the boat ,they just sat on the beach sipping the tea and enjoying the heavenly scene .very nice little island.visit date 27 march 2013
