Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The friendly lady in charge provided a decent presentation with interesting facts and even answered our questions in detail. However, the visit was overall lackluster.

There was only a single hive with bees for show. The rest of the working hives were high up on a steep slope behind the sole farmhouse, which was not accessible to visitors.

The apiary was in the quieter Habu area of Cameron Highlands. We ended up visiting it after our taxi driver refused to take us to the Kampong Rata area above, citing the massive traffic jams as most visitors leave the Highlands through that road on Sundays.

This farm sold a variety of honey products, dried and fresh strawberries and a range of Cameron Highlands souvenirs (e.g. keychains). I really liked that there was no hard-sell and the lady didn't push us into buying anything.

We were only here for about 20 minutes, which was spent mainly on the bee presentation and photo-taking. The farm is small and grew similar produce found in other farms (e.g. strawberries, lettuce). There were fewer visitors than expected and it was nice to not have crowds around for once.

If you like having the whole farm to yourself and basking in peaceful silence, or if you happen to be in the Ringlet area, this farm might be worth a visit.

Just one bee hive for demonstration to show people...
The rest of the honey just seemed to come from other sources.. making it look like a supermarket!

We went to that place in August 2018. It is a small place, not looking bad, especially with the bee hives located on the hill and we decided to buy some other jar of bee honey as we were right on the spot where it is produced. Luckily we bought only one jar, to discover later at home it is like a coloured sugar syrup inside, no taste of honey at all, tastes like sugar or glucose, plus the the luqiud was with very low density...like water inside. I also attach photo here of the product, so that you guys to be aware and careful. The place is nice just to visit, but be careful as seems most of the items are just fake, but at high price. For roughly the same price, I bought very nice and real honey in KL, but IMPORTED one from New Zealand. Imported one, same price!!! I leave the conclusion to you.
Dear farmers on the Highlands, be more reasonable and do not do this! This does not help your business, but just creates an exceptionally bad image of you and what you are doing! I know you are so greedy for money, but this sone not the way the real business is working! And once again: your honey is fake, sugar syrup!

Previously,I have been trying the floral honey where I believe it is original because ever since I have it there is no ants near to the honey. The taste is good and I love it. Definitely will come back and buy. This month I went and buy again too. The owner himself sell the honey at the market near market at corpthorne there. Humble guy.

Was here twice before in 2012 and 2013. In 2015 we stopped but there were no strawberries to pick! The sunflowers are pretty to see as are the bee hives. Worth a 10 minute stop if passing on way to tea plantation.

If you come from Tapah, this Bee farm will be the first place to visit. Located along the way to BOH Plantation. Self picking strawberry available, but not so much fruit. The place is an old wooden house. But the honey is original. They got wild bee honey (Rm45-Rm85), old honey (Rm28-RM50), honey with ginseng, flower honey, kelulut honey, etc. Recommended place to buy honey from Cameron Highland.

Only 10-15 mins from The Lakehouse, opened around 11am. We bought 4 jars of apple cider vinegar, a honey comb, a packet containing 10 honey sticks, and a floral honey jar. Total RM170.00. Sadly the price is not negotiable.
Customer service needs to be improved. The chinese lady scolding us - in a cold way when we requested to try all the different types of honey (5 kinds of honey), saying that luckily today she doesn't have lots of customers. But as a customer, we have the right to taste before purchase.

We had a short trip here before going to Boh Tea Plantation not far away.

The owner was very kind and explain to us how the bee apiary works with a showcase that we can observe the bees working.

They sell affordable honey products which was awesome :D

More of my trip can be seen here :

This bee and strawberry farm with a pleasant garden is on the road to the Boh Tea Estate near Ringlet. There is a small shop where you could buy honey products but with non-existent food or drink options. It has a small bee display on the verandah where you can see bees working behind a glass panel (you open and close the wooden panel in front of the glass to view). There is a pleasant shaded verandah that overlooks the garden and the breezes were refreshing. It was very quiet with maybe three small groups of visitors on a Friday afternoon. Not something to go out of your way for but worth a stop.
