Nice!
Sep 2020 • Couples
We visited this pomelo farm. Saw many pomelos and the trees were really huge! We also saw custard apples, guava.
We purchased pomelos, guavas and dried pomelos.
The guy and lady were really nice and they let us try the samples.
I have cut one of the pomelos and indeed it was one of the most delicious pomelo we ever ate. The guy chose the pomelos for us and advised when we could eat it...

Worth to visit!
Dec 2019 • Family
This is the only nature orchard park in Ipoh area. The owner is friendly explaining the origin and story of Tambun Pomelos while visiting the farm.
Others than pomelo, they also planted starfuit & guava. After the farm visitation, the fruits they are selling at the stall are from their own farm, hence the quality is worth to the price. While I'm choosing, a local people also told me she is purposely coming to their stall to buy Pomelos. But their pomelo really juicy and delicious compare buying from the others Ipoh stall.

Overall :
- the owner and staff are friendly.
- can get the original juicy and delicious Tambun pomelo from here.
- free farm visitation.

*can try their Pomelo Aromatic Spray too.

Not worth the visit
Nov 2019 • Family
We went to the pomelo farm thinking it would be a lot cheaper but it was not. In fact.. It was more expensive than buying at the Tapan R&R or roadside. We are from nearby Ipoh but the advertisement drove us here. We bought 1 pomelo despite the price RM35 per pc. Reached home. We tasted the fruit. It wasnt sweet as claimed by the seller. In fact it tasted 0.5%sweet.Dont recommend yo others unles u want to rake photo of ghe pomelo tree with lots of pomelo hanging above your head.

Hi, first I would express sorry for the unpleasant experience. 😅 Please allow me to give you some explanation. 🙂 Our pomelo stall had been open for years and our aims are to promote and educate the Tambun Pomelo. Our Original Tambun pomelos had not been increasing the price for many years pass, even the production is low during the rain season, and the price will be depends on the size. Please understand that pomelos harvest need 6 - 7 months, and sometimes we will get nothing if it is raining season. Fresh pomelos that are just plucked are suggested to keep for few days, hence normally we will ask customers when to consume before purchasing. Anyway, please accept my sincere and humble apologies again. 😅 We will improve on the farm facilities, and hope you will come and visit again in the future!

Just make sure you choose wisely. As sometime the pomelo that you buy can be a bit bitter or very sour sour. Its very hard to say whether the seller is very honest by suggesting a good fruit.

Awesome Pomelo Enterprise!

It is really not a park. It is an orchard with pomelo trees (majority) and other fruit trees as well like guava, chikoo, mangosteen. It is pure happiness to walk through the orchard as all fruits grow so well on Tambun soil. In addition, these trees are well taken of. Other than fruits, you are able to buy other pomelo products like tea, soap, snacks, shampoo, anti mozzie spray, spray for bedtime, etc. Interesting! Their pomelos are of course top grade.

Walk among the Pomeloes
Jun 2018 • Couples
It's just a small pomelo farm with quite a good number of fruits trees. Pomelo and other fruits like lime, guava, etc.
A nice walking path inside the farm makes it convenient those on wheelchair and also young children.
It's fun seeing all the fruits hanging from the trees, especially the very large King Pomelo.
They would also give talk/briefing to explain all about pomelo therefor group tours.
At theend of the visit we bought 2 different pomelos.
Good visit.

This was our group's first stop upon reaching Ipoh. We in Singapore have eaten the Ipoh Pomelo and now when in Ipoh at this stop we learned more about this fruit. The limestone soil is good for the growth of this fruit; there are 2 types - the white and the red - the white being the sweet ones, while the red is sourish. Were given tips on how to select a juicy pomelo - the heavier the better. Also saw a giant passion fruit in the orchard. We bought 3 pomelos to eat at our homestay. Go to this Orchard if you are interested in why Ipoh is famous for its pomelos.

Quickest Pit Stop

Other than a small shop, next to the inner road. Our visit were a very short 15-20minutes. Not many make purchases because the Samplings were not even tasty.
Let just say fruits are also our daily meals starter & dessert.
It was really heavy, having to lug these Pomelos across the causeway.
A few of us, wandered by ourselves into the plantation for some photos.
As probably due to the season, not many are left hanging on the trees.
Anyway our love for nature overcame us & we left feeling somewhat disappointed as this place was much touted by our guide.
Just for Pomelos Lover - each & every part of a pomelo is a money churner.
Skin is edible or for oil to sooth a good sleep, many examples follows.
Seeds, roast them to grind them into powder - good for guts & system.
Flesh for eating (sweet type - Bell shaped)
Sweet & Sour (pimpled skin on smooth surface)
Sour type (mostly white - smooth surface lesser pokka dots or pimples)
Its leaves for tea as one example.
many others

Just Go!

No admission fee charged to enter and see this pomelo orchard. Small parking lot right in front of their shop directly off the road. No touching of the fruit on the trees for obvious reasons. The shop here sells whole pomelos as well as chilled half pomelos (and other cut fruit like cempedak) at a very reasonable price - these can be eaten on the spot at tables provided. The shop also sells pomelo-related products: pomelo flavoured tea, pomelo-scented spray, etc.

Friendly staff (or owner?) told us where we can find the huge passionfruit hanging on the tree!
