Gunung Lang Recreational Park

Went to this Tourist attraction during lunch hour. Apparently they are closed!!!! Not interested in tourists arrivals as locals Municipal council are running the show. Cannot go broke as City Hall pumps in money. The place seems fantastic and will prospers if runs by private entity. You can feed the fishes and tortoises which is aplenty from the jetty.

Broken pump and was unable to see any water fall. Kids enjoyed feeding the fishes in the river instead. They also had timed boat ride to the other side of the river where there are ostriches and another animal. But they looked like they were not well looked after.

Nice entrance with just a huge man made water fountain that attach to a mountain, a very giant size kid play ground before entrance. Very nice scenic view after the entrance to the lake while waiting for the boat transfer. Cheap and convenience fees for boat transfer, river boating to another island take approximated 8 mins, nice viewing along the... More

The scenery is beautiful, but there is a lack of activity taking place at this park. Should organize some events to make the place livelier or else it looks like a ghost town. The boat ride is just a 5 minutes to get across to the park and upon reaching it, just explore and you will find a deer and... More

Just 15 mins from Ipoh town. Good place to relex and chill from city life. Natural rock formation.

Not worth paying RM3 for the boat ride to the other side. As the park on the other end was badly maintained. The enclosure for deer and ostrich was dirty and smelly. Boat ride was a short one round the lake for photo taking which photo can be taken at the jetty without the ride

For nature lover, this park is suitable for you to hang out. Enjoy scenic view by a boat ride to the park.

Lang Mountain or Gunung Lang is a mountain located off the North South Expressway in Jalan Kuala Kangsar. The 28 hectare area with limestone hills and a lake has been developed into a recreational park. A lot of wildlife like monkeys and birds can be seen in the hills together with natural flora and fauna. In the lake are fish... More

This is a lovely place to visit and to take a boat ride over the lake which seems to run every 30 minutes. There is wild life around when you look we noticed an eagle, monkeys and of course the lake is full of catfish and golden carp. You can buy packets of fish food which keeps the children amused.
