Enlighten Heart Tibetan Buddhist Temple is an old charm and is located in Tambun. Not very much of people in Ipoh knows about it. It is at a hidden location covered by wild plants on the approaching roads and surroundings. There are very few Tibetan...More

Nice building and impressive view. One can hardly blame the lack of housekeeping due to the fact that this temple is huge.

There are very few Tibetan Buddhist temples in Southeast Asia, what more in Malaysia so this temple is a rare find. The road to approach this is a very narrow road covered with bushes and unkempt wild plants on your left and right. Then suddenly,...More

Comes Wesak Day, Tambun awakens to another glorious religious festival the Tibetan way. Hundreds of devotees from near and far, curious on-lookers and shutterbugs are attracted to the Enlighten Heart Tibetan Buddhist Temple. Nestled at the foot of Ipoh’s impressive stretch of limestone hills and...More

It's quite a drive from Ipoh, but we passed by a very pretty lake. The temple itself is really a nice place to explore. We get to climb the stairs and enjoyed taking pictures at almost every level. The place is also lovely.
