Beautiful building, very well maintained... Nice area around with fountains and green park... Pity that you couldn't see the platform without train ticket... Be aware when across the road in front... No zebra, and busy road... There are snack shops and free wc...

Ipoh Railway Station is a fascinating old building. The modern additions have been done without destroying the historical aspect of the building, and while it is somewhat run-down and damaged from decades of "improvements", you can easily imagine the place in the 1920's, with rickshaws...More

A place to buy tickets....improved outlook over the years. Service might not be so good but just walk around and take a look at the building inside and out and you might supersede this flaw with the beautiful structure and scenic view.

This is the only train station in Ipoh. Always book your ticket online if you don't feel like waiting in line. There's small Muslim prayer room if you don't feel like pray on the train. A bit secluded from the ticketing area.

Old building, quite nostalgic. Reminds me of old Ipoh when I was there back in the 70s. Quite crowded most of the times when the trains are in the station.

A Great colonial architecture, very near to the old town and become a centre and major transportation hub in Ipoh. Ktm train ride from Kl is only about 2 hours

We took a train from KL to Ipoh. It is a good way to travel. It is fast and fuss free. This is also a very economical and efficient way to travel. The trains are clean and on time. Recommended.
