There are some beautiful heritage buildings in just a few blocks. They are different styles that adds to the interest. A real must see as you move around town..

Scattered around Ipoh, u can find various arts behind the old buildings in Ipoh Old town. some were very unique

Ironically for a town that prides itself on walking tours Ipoh has the worst footpaths we encountered in Malaysia. We saw some nice buildings and art but it was very difficult to navigate Old Town. Fixing the footpaths would make this experience much more enjoyable.

ipoh is a quiet city compare to penang. with similar building and mural. must visit if you go to ipoh. walk around the street, and you will find heritage building and beautiful mural. if you get tired you can take a rest at coffe shop...More

Walking round the Heritage area will make you see more of Ipoh and know more of the place.The Birch Tower, mosques, churches, schools, banks are all within the walking tour.

Ipoh Old Town is not that big and full of colonial buildings, so it's a great place to observe historical architecture. In addition, there are a number of large murals on the sides of buildings scattered across the Old Town to look out for.

We started from Thean Chun kopi tiam at ipoh old town and ended walk back to hotel. Better at morning or after 3 pm when it not so hot.

If you cannot find a map, the Padang ( behind Royal Ipoh Club) in Ipoh town will be a good landmark Its just walking distance from the Padang towards Little India Explore by foot !! You may find another attraction !!
