We walked along the cemetery in the evening. It was getting dark and we did not feel like going in. There seemed to be some nice tombs. But it looked like the place could do with a little better maintenance.

If you are interested in old cemeteries, this one has some beautiful old tombs. There is an interpretive panel and map showing some of the key graves, but it is interesting to just ramble around and explore.

It is a fascinating eye into the history of colonial Malaysia and the grave stones tell a sad story of disease and early death.
