We attended a wonderful cooking class with Pearly and her lovely husband Chandra with Lisa and Vanessa who also left comments below and we had a fabulous time. The market trip when Pearly explains different fruits, vegetables, meats and seafood to the walk in the garden to the actual cooking was fabulous. We laughed lots, learnt heaps and enjoyed a... I recently attended Pearly and Chandras cooking class and Market Tour at Pulau Tikus. Upon being picked up at our hotel we were taken to the wet market where we were provided with an extensive amount of information about the fruit, vegetable, meats and spices available. Pearly has a wealth of knowledge which she happily shared including the therapeutic benefits... More

Pearly and Chandra are 2 of the humblest people I have met in a long time. The day commenced with a door to door pickup from Chandra who gave us an insight in to the history of Malaysia. We met Pearly and her contagious smile and bubbliness instantly made you feel welcome and so we began the tour of "The... More

I grew up in Malaysia but as a child and teen didn't do a lot of local cooking - too many opportunities to eat 'out' and enjoy what the experts made! Living overseas now, it was wonderful to learn some delicious dishes from one of those locals. Many times when I take a cooking class, I have a great time... More
