We cut time by buying fast-line tickets. Although we still needed to wait for about 30 min to get uphill, the return trip was faster. Can't imagine how long would it takes if we took the regular line. Nice view from above.

I went there during public holiday and there was a very long queue (2-3hrs queue) before I can board the train plus it was raining that day. When you get to the top, there's no city view because of the mist/fog.

Dissapointed! Crowds were massive. The wait was too long. Rained throughout. More importantly, EVERYTHING is priced out of the average pocket. Certainly not worth a visit.

I know, I am visiting Penang every year once and it’s always 50% that they will be closed for some reason. It’s only 1 track and pretty old and I guess it brakes often so no guarantees. There are other ways how to get up... More
