We stumbled across this temple by chance after visiting shopping malls and walking along the road to explore a little. Very peaceful mini oasis. Great way to spend an hour drifting through the different buildings, very ornate and serene. Keep an eye out for the turtle pond tucked away.

Was impressed by the relaxed nature of this attraction and the distinct feeling that you were in an oasis in the middle of a busy city. Pleasantly surprised by the lack of retail in this attraction in comparison to other religious sites as well as the freedom to roam wherever without the feeling that you were being monitored as was... Visited on New Years Day and there were a lot of visitors. We still found the temple tranquil and peaceful. Spent some time in the well tended gardens. There is a wishing fish pond in the back garden with really big koi fish. Behind the big standing Buddha statue in one of the pavilions, there are rows of Buddha statues... More

Maqnificient of temples both of Thai and Burmese facing each other...splendour in its beauty...a must to visit these places...even if you are not of other religions...for the Thais...we get to see the sleeping buddha a 33meter long covered with gold leaf... the Burmese...a standing buddha.

When we went the atmosphere was lovely and the temple was really well kept. Really enjoyed it. The golden pagoda was a favourite.

It is first Burmese monastery-temple in Malaysia, built in 1803. The temple is packed with striking mementos of its rich past.

It is a very clean and well maintained temple and the statue of the standing Buddha is truly majestic. The property also has other interesting features like smaller shrines, a pond, and some sculptures which are noteworthy as well. Definitely worth a visit.

From the Thai temple across the road, this place is in somewhat a contrast not so much gold, Walk round the gardens and discover its hidden gems. The temple is used daily, therefore you need to remove your shoes when entering. The smell of incense is everywhere, making the visit a pleasant experience.
