Lovely building built in the olden times and well maintained. The church was named after the first Roman Catholic community that arrived in Penang in the eve of the feast of the assumption.

Amazing church located in the old town of Penang with lots of history with wonderful architecture. Inside the church is very calm, peaceful, and soul pleasing tranquility. There are lots of historical buildings and churches in this area.

The church was stunning and the compound has a sense of peace and tranquility to it. It is a nice change of pace from the hustle of bustle around Georgetown.

This Catholic Church was quite simple , all white and well presented and definitely worth a visit if in this part of town. The Church of England is just down the road and this area is impressive with its old buildings.

Worth a photo or two if you're walking this way! It is currently being renovated but is a wonderful looking building! Not far from a waterfront hawker centre where the Tiger beer and Rojac are great for a snack!

When we where in georgetown this one was on my list. Unfortunetly it was closed. We walk around the grouds and we couldn't see much than a regular garden. Perhaps next time.

Hi Ocean! Thank you for answering my question. Sorry for the negative vote. My phone slipped and pressed it accidentally. Thanks again. 😊
