Set in a gorgeous mansion and lavish romantic garden, this museum showcases another side of Penang's history told from personal artifacts of the owner. Highly recommended!

Without a guide this would just seem like a jumbled house full of bric a brac. The guide absolutely changes this into a really good tour, my guide was unbelievably enthused in a most contagious way.

Had a guided tour around the colonial era mansion filled with antiques from Europe and elsewhere imported by Chinese merchants. Alvin was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the pieces, giving each of them context and even turning on the ones that still work!

We open daily including public holiday from 9.45am - 6pm ( last tour 5.30pm ).
