Beautiful masjid off the water. The view from the outside are stunning. Courtyard was nice and main prayer hall was amazing. Plan to wear a skirt or very loose long clothing if you don't want to wear the pink coverup (which was pretty heavy and hot). Guards are a little gruff and I didn't feel as welcomed as the national... More

Putra Mosque is the most distinctive landmark in Putrajaya. A must-visit for tourist especially for those who appreciates great architecture. For the Muslims this is a peaceful and serene place of worship where you'll find calmness and tranquillity while performing your prayers. Visitors are always welcome to visit, however, do be aware that you have to dress and behave respectfully.

Beautiful mosque set next to a lake. Beautiful sunset photos. I especially enjoyed the Quran recital you could hear miles away before the evening prayer..so peaceful! Mashaallah!

The mosque itself is beautiful. The building is decorated with Islamic designs (geometric designs), uses different colored stone and verses from the Quran. There is a counter up front that provides the coverup for women, and there are guards to direct both men and women on their acceptable attire within the mosque's grounds. The mosque has three levels (1, G... More

I love this mosque.. It's huge building with outside view on Putrajaya Lake.. The scenery is breathtaking.. Perfect for photographers.. Inside the mosque though.. Wow.. Amazing.. Also perfect for photographers.. What I really like about this mosque is they allow non-Muslims to enter and take photos inside and it's surroundings.. The location of this mosque is quite unique..
