    Worth the visit
Beautiful and worth the visit. The guards and volunteers are friendly and very helpful. The mosque provides robes for individuals wearing shorts or short sleeves. Beautiful building and worth the visit. Very close to other attractions such as the botanical gardens and government building.

    Putra Mosque ❤️
The Masjid is absolutely beautiful inside and on the outside. It felt so peaceful being in and around the Masjid. I went to the Masjid for Jummah (Friday prayers). The sound of the Azaan was beautiful, Mashallah. They had cover up clothes for women if anyone needed them. I would definitely recommend a visit to this beautiful Masjid.

Stunning ! One of the most beautiful mosques in the world.
Beautiful masjid in Putrajaya. Stunning architecture, constructed with rose tinted granite. Very tranquil and beautiful inside with intricate design details . Situated on a beautiful lakeside. Very well maintained. Can accommodate 15,000 worshippers at any one time. A “must visit” for everyone !

If you want to walk around inside the mosque, then ... you will be disappointed. They only allow you to see from the main door to about 10 steps more. The rest is reserved for prayer. You can walk around to see the lake and bridge.

Taking photos inside need to be very respectful, no crazy poses allow.

We went on a private tour to Putrajaya which was about 40 minutes from central Kuala Lumpur and much closer to the airport.
The pink mosque was actually rose tinted granite and completed in 1999. The color pink represented peace and love.
The mosque was on the edge of a man made lake which added to the charm.
Our guide asked if we wanted to go inside the mosque and we said yes. We have been to mosques in Casablanca and Marrakech and they were stunningly beautiful.
As a female, I was required to fill out a form as to my name and where I lived and my email which I wrote down an old address. Even though I had a long sleeve shirt and long pants, I was required to put on a long red robe with a hood and was told to keep the robe closed the entire time. All women wore these robes no matter what they wore. We also had to remove our shoes to walk into the mosque.
15,000 people can fit inside the mosque to pray.
I was rather surprised that in comparison, this mosque was not ornate inside rather the beauty was outside.

The striking pink mosque is definitely a sight to behold. We wanted to visit, but was stopped by the guard from entering. He insisted that the mosque is close, but we see a lot of people inside the courtyard and he wouldn't let us take photos inside the court. I suspect it is due to racial profiling, but nonetheless, it is still a beautiful sight to appreciate.

This area was developed as the location for the relocation of the capital functions from KUL, and a pink mosque stands facing an artificial lake. Since it was built after the development of the area began, it has no history and the interior and exterior look of a stylish hotel. Viewing the interior is permitted except during prayer times, and there are guides at various points who will explain things to you in a mix of English and broken Japanese.
The KLIA Transit stops halfway between KUL city and KLIA, so there were a few Japanese tourists around.

The pink mosque is remarkable from a distance as well as up close. Located on the artificial lake, in the heart of the city, its immense Iranian-inspired pink dome and its 116 meter high minaret are visible from afar.

The mosque is open to visits by non-Muslims every day, except Friday, outside prayer times. Abayas and jubah are loaned for people who are not dressed according to the rules of Islam.

The welcome is friendly and smiling, we were really pleasantly surprised by the kindness of the people who did not hesitate to talk to us and get to know each other.

A very pretty and huge mosque, which is definitely worth a look if you are in the area. Allow 30 minutes for the visit.

Traveling to Kuala Lumpur and was a must visit place in Putrajaya. The Putra Mosque, known as pinkish masjid, is located close to Prime minister office. It is located on a beautiful lake. During our visit we were allowed inside and could take all the pictures we wanted. Non Muslim allowed to visit this place but you must dress appropriately. Definitely worth a visit.

The Putra Mosque is an absolute highlight of a trip to Putrajaya! Unfortunately, there are also a lot of tourists and you have to queue to borrow a coat that is appropriate for a mosque visit! There is a lot of security that makes sure you wear the right clothes! But the mosque is a masterpiece, a beautiful place of worship!!

The Pink Mosque in Kuala Lumpur is the Putra Mosque. It is a mosque in Putrajaya, the administrative capital of Malaysia. It is located next to the Putrajaya Lake, so it appears pink and is constructed of rose-colored granite. The Putrajaya Mosque is mainly divided into three parts: the prayer hall, the front yard, and prayer halls and activity rooms of different sizes. Surrounded by long corridors, the atmosphere is peaceful, and the open space is best for silent prayer. The Pink Mosque is open to tourists, but they still have to follow the customs and abide by Islamic regulations, especially in terms of clothing. Women are not allowed to expose their hair, shoulders and legs. They must wear the red burqa provided by the mosque on the right side of the entrance. , and wear a hat to enter. Men are not allowed to show their legs, and if they wear shorts they must wear the burqa provided by the mosque. A large group of people wearing red burqas were in the Pink Mosque, which was very special to take pictures of.

A comfortable and beautiful mosque for prayer or just taking photos.

When we visited it was right around the Hari Raya holidays so the area was quite quiet so it was comfortable to look for parking.

Entry to the mosque area is permitted for both Muslims and non-Muslims. So, for non-Muslims and non-Muslims who when they go there are judged by the mosque for their clothing not covering their private parts, they will be given additional clothing such as a hoodie that covers the head to the ankles and this must be worn while in the mosque area.
