Where do I even begin? Our recent VW Combi adventure drive into the sunset was an absolute dream come true! Let me try to capture the magic and beauty of our experience and make it relatable to all the fellow adventurers out there!
First things first, the VW Combi was like a time capsule of happiness. This vintage beauty wasn't just eye candy; it was pure nostalgia on wheels. And oh boy, the deck on the roof! Picture this: sitting up there, hand in hand with my new spouse, watching the sun dip below the horizon as we toasted to our love and the incredible journey ahead. The Combi was our cozy little haven, well-equipped and comfortable, making us feel right at home throughout our adventure.
Suchen, our guide and the heart and soul of this experience, made us feel like part of a big, joyful family from the moment we met. His warm and friendly nature instantly put us at ease, and his passion for the Combi and the stunning surroundings was infectious.
The views we encountered were nothing short of breathtaking. From winding roads that led us to the edge of a picturesque river to panoramic vistas that stole our breath away, every stop was a chance to embrace the beauty surrounding us. And oh, the sunsets! Suchen knew precisely when and where to pause our journey so that we could witness the sky transform into a masterpiece of colors. It was like a fairytale unfolding before our eyes, and we couldn't help but be captivated by the sheer magnificence of it all.
Throughout the entire adventure, Suchen's made sure every moment was tailor-made for our enjoyment, leaving us with a sense of tranquility and the freedom to fully immerse ourselves in the experience. We felt like we were in the hands of a trusted friend, allowing us to truly relax and savor every second of our honeymoon adventure.

Suchen picked us up at our hotel and took us around to a couple of great spots. We talked about everything from traveling, photography and his magnificently restored Kombi. We stopped at the beach and caught an amazing sunset from the roof of the VW. A great experience.

Chilling, watching plane take-off/landing, and of course the priceless sunset (and have a drink if u like to!) on top of the Kombi, isn't that what a dream chilled trip looks like? 😍 You can literally feel Suchen's passion and effort while riding in his well decorated classic Kombi. Great conversation along the journey and I must say his free spirit truly inspired me! Not forget to mention that Suchen is a also photographer. So the great pictures taken are definitely bonus! Definitely a trip that you won't regret!

Suchen showed us around and took us to his own secret spots around kk, it was all really beautiful, and the car really enhanced the experience. Suchen is a great guy who's been all over the place and is really easy to talk to, I will never forget this experience!

We had such a wonderful time with Suchen. He is a cool man with profound understanding to this world and knows how to live and work obviously. We end up drinking some beer until late night. You will never regret to travel with him.

It was a great experience chilling in the VW Kombi for a business trip. It is such a lovely and vintage place to chill where you can lay on top of the Kombi and it was so relaxing mostly on the beach. Suchen is an amazing person. He is very friendly and kind. I recommend you guys out there to go for a trip with this beautifully made VW Kombi! You will not regret it! 😉

This was such an amazing afternoon! Full of memories. Suchen is a great person and you will spend the best time visiting kota kinabalu! He can take you to the city but we didnt want that so he took us to different places in the nature! He is an amazing photographer and took photos of our family and shared them with us. The vehicle is so cool and comfortable ! You get to sit on the roof top which was fun too. I am so glad we spent one afternoon doing this because it was the highlight of our kotakinabalu trip !!! Dont hesitate ! do it !

It was great taking photos of your family especially with all the smiles on their faces enjoying the moment. Looking forward to seeing you guys again here in KK again. I think im gonna promote Babagon river more for my drives as I think its a different option other then the city drive and from your feedback, I definitely think its worth it.
