I not really enjoy this place, due to the area allow for snorkeling and swimming was limited. Mamutik is a small island. If you wish to spend some time here, maybe 1-2 hours will do (exclude lunch time).

There isn't much for a 4 yr old and a 2 yr old except playing in the water (sea and/or pool) and on the sand. It can get very hot by the beach so take the necessary precautions. Also, be sure to stay in the areas designated... More

not sure about the accommodation on the island -but bear in mind all food/drink on the island is way more expensive than the mainland - so any accommodation built there will almost certainly fall into the "luxury" bracket... More

You can negotiate at Kota Kinabalu habour any kind of island hopping before you start. Small conservation fees have to be paid once you enter some of these islands in addition.
