Lots of steps

Well worth a visit but wear sensible footwear. Many steep steps to climb up but worth a visit to see mother nature at her best.

Brilliant cheap day out don't bother with a tour just hire a scooter and get there yourself once your out Kuching it's just a long straight road there, beautiful caves never seen anything like it before don't go without taking a torch, if you don't like dark spaces or afraid of bats don't do it. If you grew up reading Chinese folk tales like Journey to the West or the Eight Immortals Crossing The Sea like I did, then perhaps you'd feel like you've been transported into the setting of these stories! There were many flights of stairs to get into the cave. Interesting experience!

I don't know about you, but I always imagine caves to be at, or below, ground level. Not so the fairy caves. It is a steep climb just to get to the entrance, which makes you wonder how the heck they were discovered in the first place! Fortunately you don't have to scramble up the cliff face as a huge... After a steep but doable climb, there's a very large cavern with some interesting rock formations and a few paths through them, as well as places to sit down and enjoy the scenery. I had never spelunked before coming to Sarawak and was very impressed by the rocks and the sights, as well as the foliage that was growing in... More

a bit of stair climbing leads into a stunning cave room - lush, exotic, secretive. Great views from several angles (more stairs). Further into the cave there is tarantula, scorpion and lots of fruit bats. A fantastic cave to visit.

Entrance 5RM. Climb the external staircase to a not very exciting looking cave entrance which leads to stone and wooden steps sometimes in semi darkness. Then you are in the cavernous main chamber with more steps to climb to get alternate views and experience the vastness of the chamber. The main chamber is lit with natural light.

My first time going to a cave and this was very pretty! There's some light in the cave and plants around. Very pretty formations. Enjoyed exploring the cave, though it is not very big.
