We did the "walk" to the waterfall, which started as an uphill climb before getting to the forest path. Making it to the waterfall was worth the walk and it was a refreshing swim, but another uphill walk back means you'll be hot & sweaty...More

Tried the waterfall walk. Steep, slippery, hard going in the humidity, and the waterfall was not up to much when we got there. luckily no leeches that day, but very little wild-life either

Don't let the hot Sarawak weather keep you away. It is much cooler in the forest than in the city, so you can enjoy the hike to see the different types of rainforest growth and the beautiful waterfall. The rangers at the gate were friendly...More

Hi There Sorry for the late reply. Yeah it is. The guides take you out at night, so I'd definitely do it alone. If you're worried, you can stay in Kuching and catch an Uber in and out ... It's only about $20.00
