- lhoisid201618 contributionsEnjoyable dayWe had an enjoyable day and all the staff we interacted and the wildlife theatre presenters were great. I can understand international visitor reviews who have been to similar concept parks in other countries and especially if you're an older family (we had teenagers). For us, the best ride was the Vuvuzela, opened at 11am que was about 15min on a Friday. Other water activities were standard and enjoyable. The Waterplexx 5D was disappointing. Enjoyed the wildlife park, show and photo with parrots. Covered these and the roller coaster in one day.Hi, thank you for the awesome review! Your thoughts and comments are very valuable to us. How to get there: Take the train to station USJ7 and jump on the train to the entrance subway lagoon. You can purchase this entire trip through the ticket machines. Average cost of the ticket per person is NZD4. We purchased our tickets on KLOOK and it was a seamless transaction. When we arrived we had the vouchers on our phone and the tags were printed out at the kiosk. Some of our highlights are the scream park - if you’ve been to spookers in Auckland. This park is on steroids! Well worth the scare. The wildlife park was exceptionally layout, attention to detail and the birdlife was incredible. The wave pool is pretty spectacular, every day at 4:30pm it’s wave time with a DJ. It’s a pretty cool experience. The epic water rides were fantastic! My top tip (no disrespect to any religion or nationality) as a European it made me feel awkward with the staring and pointing. We all had swimwear on but we really felt uncomfortable. If you don’t want the same experience, take a rash vest to cover your swimwear.Visited May 2024Travelled with familyWritten 24 May 2024
- jbq22Wanaka, New Zealand37 contributionsA Trip highlight - our 3rd visitBest day ever. Buy tickets day before with express. We had no queues at all. If you can, buy a cabana as soon as you enter. Worth every cent. It includes free drinks and popcorn. Food was good and reasonable and they deliver to your cabana. Great day for adults and teens. Go by grab but leave by 4.30 to miss traffic if staying in the city.Visited July 2024Travelled with familyWritten 24 July 2024
- Ridgebacks IUnited Kingdom1 contributionGood day out, shame about the operatorsWe must have gone off season as the queues were not bad at all. It was a good day our for the family. The big downside are the operators. One was so smelly pushing us down the water slide he needed a good shower. Another, at the top, on the big flagship ride, said to my 9 year old daughter that she was beautiful and could he marry her. So gross. how is this acceptable? Basically allowing a peado to work there and make his preferences in young children known to them. Management, please review whoever you had operating the Vuvuzela on 01/09/24. Indian looking with bad teeth. This is disgusting. Have better recruitment and training.Visited September 2024Travelled with familyWritten 1 September 2024

This park was much bigger than what I expected. It had wet rides, dry rides, adventure sport and even a zoo. So plenty of choices for everyone.
We went on a Sunday when it was so much quieter so we didn’t have to wait long for the rides, some not at all! I wouldn’t recommend the 5D though because as far as I’m concerned it was just shaking seats with water splashed in your 3D glasses and I couldn’t see a thing!
The reason i’m not giving it 5 stars is because on that day, a few of the rides were closed for maintenance, food was horrible (don’t get the Nasi Lemak!) and some of the workers need to be retrained on customer service!
Overall though, we still had lots of fun!

Many rides are getting upgraded,
There is no notice that these rides are not working before you buy the ticket.
You buy the express ticket without any use, just extra money, in most of the rides you have to wait.
Some staff will not allow you to ride because of the weight, and even if you came all the way for very long time on the stairs.
No towels availabe and you have to buy and all are over priced.
Wasn't pleasant experience at all, and it's not recommended option.

Dear bonds16,
Thank you for your review.
Our park is open 365 days a year hence, maintenance of rides will be during operation hours. Rides closure notices are displayed at the entrance of the parks, website and social media.
As for the Quack Xpress, it is for you to beat the queue at 21 of our most popular rides.
We hope to see you again.
Thank you.
Regards,

Me and my friend got to try most of the water games in it and play for the second time for those water activities that we prefer, as we went when it's just open for business. Good place to relax, enjoy and have fun. Better come early to avoid bigger crowds and queues. The experience was fun and memorable. Their entrance tickets have different type of promotions so you can purchase it in a cheaper price.

Paid $300AU for tickets. Some of the rides were closed unfortunately. Some rides my children were not able to ride due to height. Husband wanted to go on zip line he was 3kg over you need to be between 40-80kg. The wild life park was amazing best wildlife park I’ve ever been. Was a bit disappointed with some
Of the rides being closed. With the tickets being expensive you still had to pay for some activities such as Bungeejumping car riding.

OUR CAMP OUT EXPERIENCE
Given the size of Sunway Lagoon (6 zones, 2 waterparks, Wildlife Park, huge wave pool, etc) you really need more than 1 day to see and do everything! We tried their new feature called Camp Out where you are staying in a tent INSIDE the park after closing time. We absolutely loved every minute of it and here is why:
👉 Being inside the park after closing time meant that we were the only ones there (besides a few workers). This is such a unique opportunity to explore the park!
👉 On the second day you have the benefit of being the first in line for that one attraction you really love but can have huge waiting lines. We both did the Flying Fox zipline first thing in the morning and were the first ones! This can save you so much valuable time.
👉 Camp Out is a private area inside zone Lost Lagoon. This means that you have a place to keep your stuff, take some rest and recharge with free tea and coffee and shower when you like. No need for a Cabana or Locker rental with this one. They provide free towels and toiletries too.
👉 Breakfast and the Hotplate Dinner that’s included were amazing!
👉Also, the buggy service taking you from and to Camp Out was a nice bonus and saved us some walking.
👉 Mr. Alex and the whole SL Team made us feel so special, it really is a unique experience and our 5yo couldn’t believe his eyes when he saw where we would sleep that night! We will remember this one for a lifetime… 🥹

Glad that they allowed infant rides with parent. Some of the rides can be extreme and some activities required additional charges. Since you will be putting away your valuable item beside your mobile phone, therefore they allowed payment via QR code (Maybank) except for small stall which still prefer cash payment.

One of the premier water parks in the klang valley. It's best to split the wet and dry parks, as there're simply too many attractions to go through in a day's time. The water attractions gets my vote.

Had this in Singapore years back but was curious when heard that they were in town hence my trip there. Since it’s a chain restaurant my expectations are not so much on he food quality nor the service level however I must say it’s pretty much as expected. Both giving a super level of great services comparing to other local and imported hot pot set ups. The more interesting issue here is actually the price. It’s so much more worth it if eaten in Malaysia. Paid SDR 200 plus worth when in Spore for two person, but in KL again paying RM of 200 plus getting so much more in variety . We get to eat abalones and seafood platters plus all the meat varieties but not in Spore. Literally in Spore our orders were so much more limited to meat and veg. Date not add in seafood. Hence I would go during off peak and eat what ever you like in Malaysia!! And not feeling the pinch

It’s expensive in but if you stay they full day you’ll get value for money . No food and drink can be brought in . Tbh a bit silly you can’t bring in water . There’s lockers and loungers at beach area in front of wave pool . Had a great day on the slides . Pizza was good too . Park cleared out a bit around 4 pm so less queues on the rides .

I just want to buy tickets for water park .can I buy separate ticket? Don't want to visit all areas
Written 24 September 2024
Can anyone shed light on how to purchase the ticket online? I find substantial price difference by purchasing ticket directly from Sunway Lagoon Website and from the one offered by third party websites.

Hi, is it possible to bring a GoPro attached to your body to Sunway Lagoon?
Written 9 April 2023
Yes, its possible, I saw some people brought that during our visit.

How big is this park? Can we walk from one to another in 10mins? What are your suggestions to start off with ?
Written 8 February 2023
This park is huge and divided into section, we came in around 10:30am and by 5:00pm plus we manage to cover till the motorsport area, but bare in mind the day we went was during weekdays and not peak season.

They sell water shoes and you are allowed to wear them there. There is a beachn inside.
