We took the Cascade tour and certainly did not regret it ! Our guide was very knowledgable and took the time to show us a place he obviously knows very well. Even though I'm not a fan of "invasive tourism", he took us for a tea in a typical Moroccan home on the way. We had a chance to taste... More

Poor planning on my behalf left me with no other option than to take a tour with a French speaking guide. Ok but my French is school girl stuff from many, many moons ago! But I managed. We walked through the Argan tree forests learning about how traditional methods are still used for harvesting the fruit, etc and on to some... More

We met up with Ottman who was charming, with a good sense of humour and had informative views about all aspects of Moroccan life. We learned a lot during the 4 hour walk. We visited the ruins of a sugar factory that in the 16th century traded with Italy; a pound of sugar for a pound of marble. The walk... More

We booked a full day walk and were picked up by our guide, Ottmane. With beautiful English, a geology degree and a great sense of fun we were set up for a really good day. It felt like we were walking with an old friend and both conversation and scenery were really enjoyable. Stopping off for lunch at a local... More

A 5 hour walk though the Moroccan countryside and along a deserted beach. Fantastic views and knowledgable guide. I found the last hour of the walk a bit challenging but it was well worth it in the end for the delicious meal with a Moroccan family.

Great morning walk with Ottmane in the country. Stopped at a fascinating 16th century sugar mill with aqueduct. Seeing the countryside, drinking some tea in a small village and stretching our legs was good. Guide spoke great english and was great company. Pick up at 9 and was back around 1pm.

It was a very nice afternoon walk, the guide ottmane was very good, he made a great job! We learned a lot, it was very interesting. The only thing we didn't really like was the sellers at the women's cooperative, they were a bit pushy. My husband and I didn't intend to spend any money for argan products as we... More

We had an extremely enjoyable time on our tour. Our guide, Ottmane, was very friendly and knowledgeable, making our walk through the sand dunes, along the coast and through the forest spectacular.

I really enjoyed being introduced to an unfamiliar landscape and ecology. The guide only spoke French but i brought a friend who is fluent and my bird app was invaluable for establishing the Latin names of birds. The guide was very knowledgeable and took us to places we might never have discovered alone.

We booked a walk quite last minute while having dinner at La Decouverte (although I had seen the reviews here while researching our break), going for a half day walk to the viewpoint. We really enjoyed getting out of the town for a bit and seeing a bit of "countryside"! Ottoman, our guide, spoke excellent English and was very chatty... More
