My buddy and I LOVED the Quad Biking. It started slow but then got fast and crazy! IF you stay behind your guide then you're good to go. The customer service and professionalism throughout the processes (from booking to finishing the ride) left A LOT...More

What. A. Blast! I've never driven a quad before. Word to the wise, it's not a 4-wheeled bike. You MUST turn the handlebars to turn the bike. You CANNOT just lean into the turn and expect it to respond like a bicycle or motorcycle. GREAT...More

Stayed two nights at Desert Explorers and was actually very surprised by the quality of the rooms, that from the outside looked like containers. Clean room with comfortable bed, hot shower and heating fan (Yes, Swakopmund is really cold during September nights). I can't really...More

Sadly, lack of sufficient instruction and lack of experience in reading a group by the guide ended in a visit to A and E. There was also no First Aider on hand to assess the situation and the advice from guide was to get back...More

Sometimes less is more.... Trust me just do it.... This is bucket list stuff. They are so professional, friendly and 10/10 is the only way to describe the experience.

What a great way to see the beauty of the desert and have tons of fun as well. Matthew our guide was proffesional and helped when we got stuck in the sand. Great fun, will be back to ride the dunes again

Great fun out on the dunes! You get picked up on time, and everything runs very smoothly after pickup. It is really close to the city so you can easily drive there yourself. They have some good guides and even parrots while you wait.

Dune fun!! very nice - a must if you are at the Namibian coast. book and plan accordingly usually better if not windy, either earlier in the morning or late afternoon. Allow yourself for at least 100 minutes to fully enjoy this wonderful experience.

Hi there are quite a few operators in the area and they have different options, ie quad bike only, or 4x4 dune driving (as a passenger) or dune surfing etc. I suggest going online and emailing your request. Look at my post... More
