Stopped here on a cruise day, but is the sort of place I would come back to, to spend a few weeks here. Just the most picturesque beach, coconut trees lining the sand, great snorkelling and a pine tree forest in the middle of it. Stunning.

I like this Bay because it's right next to Kuto beach so you have the best of both worlds. This bay is rich in wild life with sea turtles, snakes, beautiful reef for snorkelling and lush green surroundings. Safe shallow area for the kids and white sandy beach. PS take your rubbish with you and pick up your cigarette butts.

The most beautiful beach I've ever been to. Clear waters, lovely white sand, relaxing atmosphere with trees fringing the beach. Snorkeling is especially good up near the Oure Tera hotel end of the beach

Gorgeous beach and clear warm water to relax and soak up the South Pacific sunshine. Lots of room for all the families who poured of the cruise ship along with us. Didn't feel cramped at all, snorkelling was great right off the beach, lots of colourful fish to see. I would definitely go back again.

We have visited here twice on our last two cruise holidays. This has to be our favourite port of call. It is absolutely stunning. Enjoy lazing around in the sun and enjoying the view or get out your snorkel and see the plenty of fish under water. If your luck you will see some sting rays and turtles. When visiting... More

5 minute walk from the wharf ( we arrived on a cruise ship). Plenty of areas along beach or on grass to pitch a spot for a few hours. Water beautiful, snorkelling easy and quite a few fish and anemones around the rock. However water became very murky quickly with all the others from the ship. Lots of stall set... More

This place is stunningly beautiful. Water is crystal clear, sand is so fine, it feels like flour on your feet. Plenty of shady places along the shoreline. Vendors set up when Cruises come to port, so you will find fast food such as fried chips, sandwiches, pizza, local cakes and even doughnuts! Not a lot of choice, amenities are very... More

We had a lovely time snorkelling around the sacred rock. Plenty of fish to see in sea grass or reef. Unfortunately we realised later that all our New Caledonian cash had been stolen from our wallets! 'Lucky' only cash, our credit cards and smartphones were still there. So my tip; enjoy the scenery, but take your valuable with you!

We cooled off here after our island tour. Perfect place to stretch out on a towel, read a book, relax, and unwind. Swimming is fantastic also, the water is a beautiful blue colour! Snorkelling near the beach is okay, however near the rock is a great location, around the base many fish and beautiful coloured coral can be seen. However... More
