We were there in 2012 and going again in 2017. It has pristine beach, clear water. It is great for snorkeling. Usually ship will drop people by tender on the Kuto Bay. Kanumera bay is just 20-30 min stroll through few small houses and huts. Can spend whole day there.

This is a great place to sit and relax, swim, and lots of snorkelling. Take your own gear. Great opportunity for photos. A must swim round the island.

What a wonderful beach with soft sand, and great snorkelling for everyone. There are also toilet facilities available which were clean, and many locals were out selling their wares and food. I have been here twice before and I just gets better on each visit.

Stunning beach with beautiful white sand, crystal clear blue waters and an amazing array of sea life under the water. Great snorkeling around the rock area and the edges of the bay. Lots of trees for shade on a hot day. Fantastic postcard perfect photographic opportunities with the brilliant colors of the sea and jungle.

Spent the day here and could have spent a week, nothing to do but eat the local food, enjoy the local markets and soak up the sun and beauty. Crystal clear water for as far as the eye could see. This is my 2nd visit and wont be my last.

Got to spend the day here and I must say its such a beautiful place. The water was soo warm we went snorkelling and got to see some beautiful colourful fishes. They also have stalls set up all along the beach. My husband and I for lunch bought half a lobster and rice for $20 and a whole fish for... More

We had an amazing day on the isle of pines. Fabulous friendly local people, no one hassling you, like we had in port Vila, just an amazing laid back lifestyle with beautiful beaches in a pristine location. Some lovely market stalls and free local food along the beach. Would go back again in a heartbeat.

As you walk from the dock passed the old fort and along the road to this bay your breath will be taken away at the colour of the water, the jungle top the sea and the powder white sand....... Amidst coconut palms and grass you walk onto the 'talcum powder' like sand that seems to flow out in all directions... More

if the cruise ships are in you can't move, but there are lots of stalls selling food and knick knacks, so good for an impromptu lunch. (otherwise on the island you may have to book at a hotel)

Amazing Blues to be seen in the water. The best snorkelling is to be done around the large rock in Kanumera Bay just a short walk from the jetty.
