This was a nice beach. We didn't have time to snorkel here, but we went in the water and it was great. The bathroom nearby was closed. The beach was crowded from our cruise ship, and probably always is when there is a ship there, so if you want something secluded, you should go elsewhere. There are shops and stalls... More

If you want a brilliant little bay to take the kids snorkelling and see excellent coral and marine life this is the place. The corals close to the little islands are in paddling distance and in quite shallow and gentle waters so easily accessible for those who are not confident swimmers of for kids (with supervision of course). Highly recommend... More

Best snorkeling so far. 10 meters in and there's so much to see! Clear water and relaxing area. We haven't been to the Piscine Natural yet, so we can't compare with that, though Baie de Oro hasn't got a much to see.

this was one of my favourite stops during our south pacific cruise. the water is crystal clear and warm. If you walk a few hundred meters down the bay there is also a resort you can hire kayaks from. Would recommend bringing your own snorkelling gear. Food options are limited, so I would recommend bring snack from the cruise ship... More

A great Family or Honeymooners get away ! Fabulus Scenery !Aqua-Blue Clear waters, white sand, beautiful corals, and friendly local people. The local food stalls offers you fruit, BBQ Lobster with Rice & Fish. Quite expensive . Everything is imported . Do not climb the Sacred Island, locals advise. There is a proper Toilet and no fee. Bring swimming shoes... More

Can get busy when the cruise ship is in town but delightful beach location with lovely swimming and snorkelling straight off the beach.

We were there in 2012 and going again in 2017. It has pristine beach, clear water. It is great for snorkeling. Usually ship will drop people by tender on the Kuto Bay. Kanumera bay is just 20-30 min stroll through few small houses and huts. Can spend whole day there.

This is a great place to sit and relax, swim, and lots of snorkelling. Take your own gear. Great opportunity for photos. A must swim round the island.

What a wonderful beach with soft sand, and great snorkelling for everyone. There are also toilet facilities available which were clean, and many locals were out selling their wares and food. I have been here twice before and I just gets better on each visit.
