Excellent view of Sea with Limestone Mountains. Taking a Dhow (Local Wooden Boat) through the Fjords is a real life time experience. Sunny day is preferable. Various kind of water activities are also popular. The Fjords are having some good caves to visit by small boat.

We headed up there diving for 2 days. The area had a very low number of people and boats, and provided a pristine environment to spend 2 days. Almost no rubbish both on land and under the water made it a remarkable time. The area has a lot of wildlife and marine life, and well worth the visit if in... More

The full day dhow trip was absolutely beautiful, the landscape is amazing and the snorkelling fabulous. The dhow wasn't too crowded and the food provided was delicious. The staff on board were extremely friendly and helpful. We booked through our hotel - Atana Khasab

Having sailed these waters in the late 70s, we wanted to see the Peninsula close up and personal. This is well worth the visit to see the vistas. I would do this once, so you can get it imprinted on your brain! Pictures just do not do it justice. This is a tough life out here.

This was such a wonderful way to spend a day. The dhow trip was very relaxing. We saw humpbacked dolphins several times during the voyage, which were delightful to watch. The snorkelling at Telegraph Island is superb. There is snorkelling equipment on board for those who don't have their own gear, as well as towels, freshly packed for after the swim.... More

Hard to get to, but worth the time and travel to get there. The dhow cruise through the fiords was relaxing and fascinating all at the same time.

6 hours on a dhow may not be your idea of fun but this was a great day out; stunning scenery, dolphins swimming next to the dhow; a couple of chances to swim in the fjord. Highly recommended (we used Khasab Travel and Tours)

We booked through Khasab Travel & Tours, pickup was very prompt and driver experienced and polite. Also the board personnel acted very professional and everyone did a good job. The whole concept was obviously well-organized and in a professional manner, well-trained staff, etc. The food was tasty(chicken-curry with rice and veggies, salad and hummus) and free drinks like water, soft...
