The drive to reach this place is wonderful... U have to go through winding roads up hill. The destination is important, more for the religiously inclined... But the journey is worth the ride.

As most people mention, the drive is the highlight. Dramatic scenery, panoramic views of Salalah and wealth of wildlife. Stop and listen to the birds. An easy day trip combined with Mughsal beach.

Just a tomb In small building with sheet covering it. At least one other place, in Lebanon, claims he is actually buried there, not here

The drive to and from the tomb was really my favorite part, it is quite beautiful. The tomb itself was a bit lackluster without much explanation of anything.

... for everybody that wants to visit a prophet's tomb and has some interest in spiritual places. Thanks to the great roads not more then a 40 Min. drive from Salalah.
