The visitor center at the new Agua Clara locks is perfect to see the New-Panamax vessels go through on their way from one ocean to the other one. Impressive and easy to find. And there is a nice restaurant with a view..

Don't book a tour because that's a ripoff. Do it yourself. Take the Metro from downtown to Albrook terminal, cost nothing. Then just go outside the terminal and take a cab to Station Corozal. Don't ask for the price. Just pretend you know it. Then...More

For sure you can remain a n the boat when in port! Although there are a few ports where you are tendered in by boat as the ship is "anchored" in the bay
