This museum will fool you because it looks small from the outside. Once you are inside it is surprising just how much information and how many exhibits are on the premises. It was enjoyable and woulld appreciate a little more info than what was available.

The museum is much larger than it appears from the road. It is full of interesting farm and country living artifacts. The volunteers and staff can give you interesting facts and tidbits. I learned about the teasel industry in the 1800's. The gal in the...More

It doesn't look very big from the front, but this museum houses an incredible display of things showcasing Cayuga County's rich agricultural heritage. One room looks like an old general store; one, an old kitchen; another, a 1-room school house. And that's just the front...More

My wife and I were fascinated by the collection of equipment, tools, machinery, photographs and records of Central New York agriculture in the 19th and early 20th century. The displays are easily viewed and nicely done. The setting in a barn-like building is very appropriate,...More

I already knew a lot about agricultural growing up on a farm but for people who don't have that experience there are many, many exhibits to give people an idea of what it is to farm and how advanced things are now.

Displays of farm equipment and country life. Relics from the 1700's to present day so one can see the progress of technology. Way more interesting than you'd think. I bring my sketch pad and draw, marveling at the art of the craftsman.
