This review is quite late. San Pablo prides itself as the "City with Seven Lakes" but unfortunately, not all are worth visiting. We used to come here for fresh water fish caught directly from the lake and cooked on site.

If you are not into completing the 7 lakes of san Pablo, then it’s a waste of time going to this place. Only Lake Pandin and Sampaloc Lake are worth the trip.

San Pablo City has 7 lakes. Geologists actually count 9 but two are dried up craters. Three are so close to the city proper--Sampalok, Bunot and Palaqpauin. Bunot is the smallest (cutest) but there is no way to see it. Residents crowd around the banks...More
