We are very pleased with the 2 Days bicycle tour package. I must compliment Diego services very knowledgeable and friendly. The accommodation “Nuts Huts” was awesome especially the restaurant overlooking the Loboc river! And of course Mr Walter the owner provided us the insight of the restaurant architectural structure which withstand a few typhoon and restoration process. The hut was really basic reminiscent of my childhood days living in the “Attap House” - name after the attap palm, which provides the wattle for the wall, and the leaves with which their roofs.

The itinerary was great as per package but the bike condition could be better.

Overall the tour was fantastic I would definitely engage BugoyBikers for future trip for that matter I will strongly recommend my friends too.

Wonderful experience, Renz is a great guide. She is very considerate and took good care of us throughout the trip. When we were tired, she switched bikes with us to carry our toddler. When we were wet from the rain and didn't want to bike further, we could just hop onto our backup jeepney (driver was superkind too, stopping to take our pictures) and drove the rest of the way to our hotel. The hotel where we stayed was a charming family run place at the riverside and also had a nice pool. We had very interesting conversations with Renz over our meals, she as a local could give us insight into life and culture. They are about more than running a business, Bugoy Bikers really wants you to have a good experience and are proud of Bohol and the Philippines. Will definitely join again in the future!

Everything they do, they do well. They are real people. They chat, get to know you, cook real, delicious food. Their tours are fascinating; the best part of my trip. I love the way we always sat down to eat with friends, we saw parts of the Philippines I never would have visited on my own, and I got to cycle fast, downhill, through amazing scenery. This is not a business. Bugoy bikers exist to share their love of biking and the Philippines.

You can also use this route to experience Palawan on a motorbike or in a car. We went bicycling with the always so flexible and friendly Bugoy Bikers. Starting out in Cebu, flying to Puerto Princesa, Palawan. Going from there to the west coast, passing through fields and tree-lined roads. You also pass by a correctional institution aimed at restoring criminals to normal life by working the land that you can visit. We spent the night in an eco camp, runned by four German women. Then we went on to Sabang - home to one of the world's natural wonders - the Underground River. Going back over the island again, when the road hits the highway again, do visit the genuin coffee shop situated in the juncture. We stayed a night in a charming resort at the KM 67 sign with great ocean views, beach and fantastic Philippino food. The next morning we left for Port Barton - a very nice place and stayed at Hotel Oasis Port Barton - recommendable. Left Port Barton by boat. After drop off, we bicycled about 4 km along Sablayan beach which was spectacular. Then on to Taytay and stayed at the great hotel Casa Rosa with cabins spread out on the hillside. Great views and foods. Go to the marked by the seaside. Then on to El Nido with great limestone formations. Found a great waterhole at Frendz Hostal. Also enjoyed island hopping anticlockwise to avoid the big crowds. Went back to Puerto Princesa by bus on the highway. What a trip - check it out on Bugoy Bikers homepages. The wonder about this company is that you can either sign up for a trip or make your own. Enjoy!

Bugoy managed a great 12 day trip. Made excellent changes in the few instances where the unexpected ted required changes. I've been on about 20 bike tours with various operators and Bugoy is equal ton the best.

I just got back from 14 days with Bugoy Bikers and it was awesome. we covered about 300 miles jumping from island to island with the ferries. This was a first class trip. Great accommodations and itineraries. This group makes sure to introduce you to as much of the culture and people as possible. Jens, Renz and Diego and the crew are there to anticipate your every need. I just can't tell you how much me and my friends enjoyed it! pam

BugoyBikers is the best bike tour company I have ever used. I have been taking international bike tours averaging three per year since 2011, and they do not come any better than Bugoy Bikers. Here is what makes them great: (1) Support: Guides are stationed at every turn. Three vehicles were with us as support for 20 riders. Three to four guides rode with us. Snacks and water was always available. (2) Meals: We were fed three sumptuous meals a day with the best Filipino food I have ever tasted. We ate at restaurants on the water either on rivers or beaches. We had one meal on the beach with music and candles. (3) Hotels—Most of the hotels were either on the beach or on the river. Many seem like five star resorts. (4) Route were chosen for their beauty with many along the coast. (5) Staff—Jens and Rene are enthusiastic owners (6) We were shown much Filipino culture such as dances, cultural sights etc.

We liked this place so much we stayed here twice. When we first stayed here, we were late to arrive due to our flights and they hadn't received our booking but they got us our room as quickly as possible. Really nice staff and good drinks!

We took a three day cycling trip on Bohol island. The trip and route selection were excellent with forests, villages and lots of attractions. We enjoyed the trip thoroughly. The accommodation and food provided were good. We could mingle with the locals and sing along with them. The only problem was the bad transport vehicle and the condition of the bikes. One of the cycle broke down on the first day itself and they were trying to fix it as there was no spare bike. One more bike started giving trouble on the second day and there was no response from the owner. The person accompanying us managed with a friend's bike from a nearby village. No proper instructions were given while going downhill and of our member fell from his bike and broke his finger with lot of bruises all over. Over all Good trip with bad operator.

Hi, thanks for your review. Interesting, that you review us after more than a year.has passed. Good to know you liked the scenery and the food and mingle with the locals. That's exactly what we want to show you. Sorry to hear you don't like the service car. We, on purpose, choose to use the "Jeepney", the traditional transportation in the Philippines. If we would have known that you sit 80% in the car and only bike 20% we would have surely choosen a different car. All our guest liked our car so far coz they are mainly on the bike and the car is only for the luggage and drinks. We find it also interesting, that you complain about the owner. The tour guide and the owner were interchanging all the time, especially about the broken bike. The change of the bike came due to that interchange. We are sure we provide a high end service, that is at least our goal. We will look into all your mentioned issues and see where we can improve. Happy travels BugoyBikers

We made the 2 day bike trip to Bohol. Our guide was a really nice guy, who loves biking himself. the landscapes in Bohol are amazing and the reason to go (not the butterfly gardens and all that stuff, you may skip those). Huts nuts (the overnight stay) was a nice and populair place, although the beds were too short. All in all, we really enjoyed this trip. (And staying in the hostel is recommended as well).
