First of all you misspelled the name of the place. It's Kalanggaman Island. I have been to the beaches of Cebu rated as really nice but what I can say is, you have never been to Kalanggaman Island. The water is so clear and nice. The beach has an epic white sand covering it. The site of the Island dissolves... More

Calanggaman Island is one of the nicest beaches in the Philippines. The long sandbar, crystal clear water will just leave you breathless. How i admire the beauty of this place is tantamount to the amount of hours i spend swimming , playing and basking under the sun. The plce is awesome. It's 1 hour from the pier in Leyte and... More

The place is good. My first time to visit this beautiful Island. Though next time I'll sure to bring enough drinking water.

It is the same as Kalanggaman Island which I already reviewed. This is not a luxury beach island and much of what was destroyed by Typhoon Yolanda has not been restored. Enjoy mother nature at its finest. The water is crystal clear. Beware: sea urchins are plenty but there is a medic station in the island. The entrance fee is... More

It was disappointing. there are lots of tourist. No fresh water for bath. can't use the restroom 'coz a lot of people are lining up at the moment of our arrival until our departure. a lot of trashes even at the sand bar. People are playing loud music. they should've gone to the club not on the island. tents are... More

Since I'd been in some Islands in Leyte, Kalanggaman is one of the best Islands that I'd been to in Leyte Area. The best part of the island is the sandbar. The scenery is very nice if you walk around it. The Island has it's own cottages that you can rent and you can set up your tent also and... More

We had a day trip there, was partly clouded but that didn't dampen the spirit. We saw flying fish on our trip, and on the way back dolphins jumping and enjoying themself. The island is beautiful, and clean! The swimming and snorkeling is really great as well. If the weather would have been clear we would have stayed overnight.

Thank Hans V
