Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Definitely a must see if you are visiting Arad, especially during the night when it lights up. We visited yesterday and it was very nicely arranged and had a very big Christmas three in front of it. Om the left side you can see a nice light up tunnel which leads to the Christmas fair organized in the "Mihai Eminescu" Park which is also a must see.

The city hall is one of the most beautiful buildings in Arad and one of the most beautiful city hall in Europe. This is the actual headquarters of the city management and it is quite impressive outside and inside

I was privileged to visit the city hall and it was so beautiful the interior . If you do have time and the chance do visit it and see the hall on the first floor and the view from the balcony

Beautiful place in Arad, the night lighting looks very beautiful and during the day it is possible to see a nice garden.

What an incredible waste. This city is a gem, just so beautiful...but it's a mess. It's one of the most beautiful and at the same time dirtiest and most uncivilized cities in Transylvania. How can the people and local government let such a beautiful city go to waste? I mean, half of the cities architectural treasures (including municipal buildings) are crumbling and falling apart. It looks like apart from the City Hall and the Theater (and of course the ugly huge orthodox cathedral) none of the other buildings in the city center have been renovated or at least maintained properly for decades! Half of the building have sign saying "Atentie! Cade tencuiala de pe cladire!" which translates to "Attention! Plaster falling from buildings!" and some of the even have the portion of sidewalk in front of them delimited due to falling plaster. Also, the traffic is one of the worst in Transylvania. I have not been to a city in Transylvania with more honking and with more chaotic traffic when compared to it's size.

It really feels like this city is fading away/falling apart...and there's nothing that can be done. It's a real shame because it's magnificent from a layout and architectural point of view.

Arad's City Hall is withoutt doubt a majestic building, however, its real unforgettable look is to be seen in the evening, when lit like a fairytale pallace.

One of the most beautiful city halls in this part of the country. Didn't see it from inside but the exterior is a stunner.

We visited here at night and the building was beautifully lit - putting shame to our buildings in the UK. We were allowed to enter for a few minutes to have a photograph of our group and the building was just as beautiful on the inside. We returned a few days later during the day and were impressed with the paved area in front of the building which spelt ARAD and was very well done. Worth a visit.
