it s a great museum in the hearth of the city but too bad they don t have any indicator signs at the main road. Ewen I who I live in Cluj found out it s a challenge to get to this wonderful museum

I never miss museums when I travel. This one I found to be in a process of restoring, so the only part of the museum accesible to the public was the Vivarium. There is a collection of snakes and lizards, the largest public collection in my opinion. But I might say that the space was rather small and I would have loved to have more space to admire all those lovely creatures. Maybe when the museum will be opened for the public the Vivarium will benefit of a larger space. To give a hint, the Museum is located in the university campus, near the Geography Faculty. (Google maps can be tricky!) …

Other reviews got my hopes up, but we were surprised to see it closed down while it undergoes renovations. You can however visit the basement which houses a rather modest vivarium (mostly reptiles, a few fish). On a cold day, it was nice to find warmth inside, but had I known what was waiting for me in terms of exhibits, I wouldn't have made the walk. The baby had a few laughs, so it wasn't a total loss.…

A little bit small , but with a large number of things to see. This is a great place to spend 1 hour on it, is a small museum whit all kind of animal life and were they where found it, is a lot of fun. I went there several times and each and every time I look around amazed.
