We took a boat, which is free, which travelled along this river through the town. Very relaxing and laid back. Boats are new and clean. Not much happening here.

We walked along the rived both ways form the city centre. Some areas are obviously not cared for & it is here the drunk hang out. Sadly not as pleasant a walk as it could be but still it is quiet.

Excellent green river track for jogging, family walks and biking. Recently renovated, it is now possible to cross the city from east to west on both river sides and avoid traffic. A great way to see the city from a different angle.

There is no other place in the world like Bega river in the center of Timisoara with its parks on both sides. I have seen many famous places in the world but nothing can compare with this.

Nice place to walk around, specially if the weather is good. We think that during spring and summer it must be much better.

The river Bega is a cultural and historical landmark of the city of Timisoara. If you want to feel the spirit of the city, and sense its soul, a walk on the promenade is what you need.
