About
Museum "In Silence" is one of the most unusual interactive museums in Moscow. You have to plunge into the world of Silence and complete a series of seemingly simple tasks, learn to communicate and understand each other without words. Throughout the tour you will be assisted by a museum employee.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Interesting experience. We learned something new for ourselves. The child had a desire to learn dactyl. Pleasant and attentive staff. We recommend the excursion.

Fantastic museum! Very interesting, sincere, makes you think about important things. Communication and people are the greatest value! It's great that there are ways to express your feelings and share your thoughts with everyone, regardless of physical characteristics. Every person is a wonderful world! And touching the world of sensitive and subtle people was very exciting and valuable.
The video about how people with hearing loss put on dance routines moved me to tears!
Simple and accessible about the important things!

As part of the “Museums, Parks, Estates” Olympiad, we visited the “In Silence” museum.
Having been in this “Silence” you perceive life differently. There are special people living next to us who cannot hear the singing of birds, the murmuring of a brook, the voices of relatives, etc.
The museum's exhibition introduces the life of such people. How they communicate, hear music, go to the store.

The museum program includes the opportunity to be in their place: say your name with your hands, explain a word or phrase. We don’t even think about how much hearing makes our life easier.
It’s great that the limitations that many people now have will become a thing of the past - this is the promise of our Creator: “Then the blind will see and the deaf will hear. The lame will leap like a deer, and the dumb will shout for joy.”

A wonderful, instructive, educational museum that encourages you to show sympathy for such people and gratitude to the Creator for the fact that we are so “wonderfully made!”

My husband and I went on a date in silence and expected more.
Firstly, we arrived early and waited in the corridor for our session, and when we approached the administrator at 16:59 (session at 17:00), she said that we needed to wait a minute, and she simply left to conduct a master class. As a result, our date started 10 minutes late, simply because none of the staff was there and there was no one to even ask
Secondly, the date is divided into two parts: excursion and interactive. It was not clear to us what the excursion was for, since we came on a date to spend time together in a cozy atmosphere. Our excursion took place next to the room where the master class was held, which was very noisy. At the same time, our guide didn’t even think of closing the door to this room to make it at least a little quieter. During the excursion they talked about some three deaf children. Just random ones. Again, we're on a date, why do we need this part? A date implies romance. The guide herself was terribly boring. After the interactive there was also an excursion part. There were 9 paintings hanging on the wall and the guide talked about the colors of sounds. The task was to correlate the pictures with the sounds that the guide played from her phone, although we were in a room with speakers and the listening could have been more adequately organized (5 minutes before, they played a video through the speakers). At some sounds she coughed louder than the sounds themselves and, without our request, she did not turn it on again, although it is obvious that because of the cough we did not hear anything.
Let's move on to the interactive
In short, we just watched the video and played crocodile. There was a feeling that the guide (this was a different person) was constantly in a hurry, although, again, this was a date and I wanted to immerse myself at least a little in each other in these interactions. The guide interacted with us somehow every 2 minutes, so the date here is only a name
For 4k, listen to a boring tour guide, watch a couple of videos and play crocodile in a hurry? Expected more

It's a shame that such a good idea was implemented so poorly

We brought elementary school children to the museum. At the master class we prepared delicious chocolates. The quest was interesting, but without help the children found it difficult to find the correct answer. The museum also has a tea area, which is very convenient. The only thing is that it is very difficult for children to maintain silence, but in the museum of silence it is necessary)

A unique museum, complete immersion into the world of hearing impaired people. After purchasing tickets, all instructions were received on WhatsApp, the car was registered for entry into the park. The staff is very attentive. Part of the excursion takes place in a game where you use signs to explain words. After the excursion we went on a quest, I highly recommend it. Better than going to the cinema and eating popcorn for sure.
