This needs to be a part of the tour of Moscow by Night. The lighting in of the field of blood is well worth the trip as is the search light display in the sky. Very impressive.

Large park on the outskirts of Moscow. Main attraction is the Victory Museum, but there are several other interesting attractions as well. Entrance is marked by the Triumphal or Victory Arch. Original was built in 1829-34 to celebrate victory over Napoleon. Dismantled by Stalin in...More

When asked if I would like to visit Victory Park I hesitated, because I did not want my friend to feel obligated to take me to a war memorial as she seems like the type of lady that would prefer a artistic museum. Being educated...More

This park reminds you of one of the bleakest periods of human history. The world war 2. Though the park and the WW2 memorial are spectacular, i just could not get my mind off the war. Lovey place for a stroll. And August weather was...More

Visiting Park Pobedy - Victory Park was worth a walk during winter. During New Year time there are also some market activities - there still were some light statue dancers.

Interesting representations of the movement of WWII through Russia done with rooms that show the key battles with paintings and additional physical artefacts. One representation was also of a bombed house in Germany. Really enjoyed the paintings in the gallery upstairs. Impressive scale and enormous...More

Would have loved to come on a Summer weekend when the beautiful, long park is full of people, and even more so if a parade or other ceremony were taking place. But even on an overcast, chilly weekday in October, cannot help but be taken...More

I was greatly impressed by this park with it's many fountains, statues, obelisk, religious buildings - memorial chapel, synagogue, and mosque. A stunning park which commemorates those who fought and died for their country and Russias victory over Napoleon and Germany in WWII.
