This place really is a must see but be ready for the attendants to follow you around the store. They don't think you are going to steal anything (like we thought) they are there to backfill the shelf where you select an item. This makes...More

The store is very pretty and well worth a look. Decided to try lunch in the restaurant. I think our waiter finished his shift halfway through our meal. Finally got the check from another girl. Only had a large note. Waiting for change for quite...More

THE temple of food on Tverskaya, the large avenue central Moscow you find any food from Russia and former republics. Focus on fish, deli, a kitsch horn of plenty, especially columns. Local Moscovites do shop there

Fine selection of common foods and beverages with some soviet classics. Prices are lower than in Azbuka Vkusa.

You may not be interested in grocery shopping during your visit to Moscow, but that doesn't mean you should skip this market. The interior is incredibly beautiful and worth seeing, and you're probably going to walk past it on Tverskaya during your other sight-seeing. They...More

Even if you just go to see the interior of the store, it's always worth a visit. It's a great place to get food souvenirs or a picnic. It's more procey than a supermarket, but you pay for the location and the experience

For tourists, this will be the craziest grocery store they've ever seen. For locals (and visitors), there is now a bakery with a couple of tables inside, so makes a nice little stop for coffee and a pastry (I recommend sochnik or vatrushka).

Deserves definitely a visit while walking along Nievsky Prospect in St. Petersburg.. but probably outiside the building is more interesting than inside.. I would say it is the perfect tourist trap..

Tverskaya can’t be discovered with just a first
glance, the neighborhood is shaped around a long
street populated with well-known shops and brands. But
it’s more than shopping that makes this place
interesting. Take a few steps into the streets running
parallel to the main artery to discover the charm just
behind the mighty Stalinist style architecture. Comfy
European pedestrian streets Bolshaya Dmitrovka or
