expensive ticket for very disappointing museum ... I guess people come when this place hosts concerts or temporary exhibitions otherwise the main museum has nothing much to show. I don't recommend visiting it.

Was expecting much more. By the time I went: in July 2018, there were 5 exhibitions, 4 of them were basically poor, no doubts about it. one was ok. would not recommend it.

Just been to the museum. Was that really it? Lots of bare space. Some room where 3D printers were working (not sure what they were doing.....) Some rooms with what looked like scientific gadgets for kids - only one being operated and apparently they were...More

While perhaps one of the finest examples of 'negative space' in any contemporary art museum, I can't recommend it. Attached is a photo of practically only piece of art in the whole museum(baby and ball not included.) There are no permanent art installations and I...More

Everyone gets searched in Moscow these days, but not like this. Rude and aggressive search, and no table to put backpack on. Then, in cafe, they brought coffee with spoiled cream. When I sent it back, they sent it back to me and said that’s...More

I've been to Garage quite a few times, and every time there's a unique collection on display; as of this writing, the Japanese artist Takashi Murakami had his works there. Sure, the museum is small, but it packs a lot of punch in that space....More

Yakimanka acts as Moscow’s evergreen lungs with prime
beaches on the Moscow river. All the benefits of
visiting and living in Yakimanka are gathered at the
Moscow river embankment – three parks: Gorky, Muzeon
and Neskuchny garden shape this green stripe with
museums showing the hippest contemporary art. The area
is full of activities for your eyes (museums), mouth
(restaurants) and feet (sport and dance-wise). Access
