The location requires a little walk from any metro but is worth it. The outside is beautiful, especially at night when it's lit up. I didn't go inside and so I cannot comment.

Simply beautiful. I attended service for the international community. It was not held in the Cathedral but instead in a smaller chapel at the side of building. Location is about 25 minutes fronm the city center

Beautiful gothic church. Daily mass at 8 and 9 am. Also in the evening but I don't know the time. A bit out of the way but with uber, it is easy to go there.

It's a Roman Catholic Church so it includes pews (whereas the orthodox churches do not). The grounds are very pretty and I especially liked the icon celebrating Mother Theresa.

Try to get there when there is a concert. Organ is huge and powerful. Very impressive cathedral. Comper it's look in daylight and when it lighted in the evening. Fantastic! Also a very cute backyard wit a smal Zoo.

Nothing special for European, but exceptional for general Moscow architecture. Opened in 1999 after restoration it remains the best concert hall in Moscow because of acoustic and presence of Kuhn's organ (the biggest in Russia, still without 32' in pedal). Ticket to the concert is quite expensive (€10-15), but other time entrance is free.

It's been built recently, and if you're from Europe or Latin America, there's nothing to see here. Very different from local orthodox churches though

This is the biggest catholic church in Russia and consists in a magnific red-brick gothic cathedral. I went there on Sunday to the 10pm mass but unfortunately was late! Then I kept inside for some minutes and realized that another mass was about to begin at 11:30h. It was a lovely children mass , with a very smiley and funny... More

While not beeing too religeos, i love this place so much for it's patience and beauty. For sunday concerts it could be crowdy, but it worth the music, sound and ambience.

Staying in Presnensky

Neighbourhood Profile
Presnensky
The neighborhood is divided into two major halves by Krasnaya Presnya street: the southern part highlights Moscow city – businesses contained in skyscrapers along with the White House - where the Russian government works. The north is a bit more relaxed and casual, visitors here will find the Moscow zoo, National Centre for Contemporary Arts and a number of fine restaurants. The beautiful neo-gothic Cathedral of the Roman Catholic Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary is usually packed with the events such as organ music concerts.
