The cathedral is quite small and I was taken mostly with the exterior. It is a very photogenic building. That said the inside is well worth seeing for the decorations and icons in the Russian Orthodox tradition.

I like to spent some time to visit this Cathedral in Vladivostok. Like the city the cathedral is quiet new but also interesting. Is perfect to visit in a sunny day to understand the beauty of colors.

As I walked around Vladivostok, I happened upon many unique and interesting sights. I would suggest that you set aside a day to just walk around the city. Buses are a must but can me managed.

Located at one corner of the Pokrovsky park, this cathedral is mostly characterized for its mix of blue and golden domes, with light yellow walls. The interior is beautifully decorated with a huge altarpiece. After this visit you can walk around the Pokrovsky Park too.
