Loved this place, there's 26 cats that a ticket buys you an hour with. Entry price 300 rub and you get a cat coin to exchange for a gift.

This cafe is perfect for cat lovers. It's close to St Isaac Cathedral and easy to find. The food is good, the people that work there are very nice and the space is cosy. You go through a door and then you are in this lovely place FULL with cats. The cats are well taken care of and some let... More

It was very fun to visit but the cats were sleepy and not in the mood for play unless you have some food on your hands. It was also very interesting that you need to make meow sounds to enter the room! lol In general we could enjoy time there watching and petting them :)

Great place to use one hour or so with over 20 adorable cats. The staff is nice and speaks English. All different species and the entrance is cheap. I recommend for cat lovers and it's good to book it before going.

If you like cats this is undoubtedly the place for you. It's half cafe and shop with cat merchandise and half a cat museum. The women were very kind and explained well in English how the concept works. They let people in to the actual "museum" in smaller groups and teach them about the cats. The museum has many types... We found this as a blurb in our travel book and knew we had to go. We all have cats and were missing them while traveling. 30 minutes with these kitties and we felt instantly relaxed! The staff was amazing as well and gave us some history of the cats there.

Something different in a city that is full of very high culture and ornate architecture! One of the best things about the Republicof Cats is that there are no long queues!! We liked the art on the walls and enjoyed the cafe's pancakes. The cats are well-cared for but probably a bit 'peopled-out'. Give it a go as the money goes... More

The guy who gave us the tour was pretty "meh". The cats are beautiful but not very active, they are mainly tired of people and little kids who bug them and run after them. DO NOT go there if you have small children that don't know their way around cats. If they will bug a cat he can and probably... More

We visit this morning and it was a great experience, the place is very clean and organized. staff is super friendly, very good for a family. noticed the cats get stressed from young children that run after them so please don't visit if you have young children, it's uncomfortable for the cats and even for the guests there. otherwise it's...
