To do this museum justice you truly need to spend several days here. We only had three hours for this visit because we came off a cruise ship that stopped in St. Petersburg for only two days. Gained admission with no waiting in lines (thanks...More

First of all, you can buy tickets by credit card at the machines (no queues). It took like four hours just for one floor (without a long stay behind the masterpieces). If you want to see the famous Peacock clock it's operating on Wednesday at...More

Please do not let some of the reviews here dissuade you from going inside the Hermitage. Yes, this place is crowded and lines to buy tickets can be lengthy. Yet there are ways to enjoy the Hermitage at your own pace and without any crowds....More

Book tickets in advance! Please visit only a part of the museum at once, otherwise you could go mad🤫 cause it’s too big and full of interesting things!

I don't like museums in general, but this is not like the other museums, you have to see it! it is free for students and if you want to visit every room it's better to stay at least half a day inside.

The royals lived very well! Great attraction with some stunning pieces from around the world on the ground floor. The 2nd floor is mostly dedicated to Russian history. Worth it and you can spend hours here.
