This one was unfortunately already closed for the day by the time I reached it (having already spent pretty much the whole day in the Hermitage and its associated museums). And os I had to be content with just admiring the exterior. It's another nice...More

I went to see the Marble Palace, because my husband and I have pretty much seen most of the major sights but this one. The palace itself is nice, but you can't enter the main marble ballroom, you can only peep from behind a chair...More

Once it could be a beautiful building in and out. But today, it's just out and the staircase. Inside it's missing its old beauty, just white walls nothing else. So you don't miss anything if you look at it from outside and move on another...More
