It has a beautiful collection, totally worth visiting. You can purchase replicas of the famous eggs at the gift shop, they make a nice gift.

The beauty of the palace overshadows the Faberge collection it houses. It's definitely worth a visit, but if your time in St. Petersburg is limited, I would omit this.

Well worth a visit just to see the famous Faberge eggs. The display cases with the gold and silver tableware are absolutely amazing, I would recommend the use a tour guide who can explain the items on display.

Couldn't wait to see this museum as I enjoy any exhibit featuring these beauties! It was not a disappointment - exquisite collection with informative guide. The gift shop is reasonably-priced and worth a look.

The museum is located on Fontanka river embankment in Shuvalov palace. This is beautiful building and the most unforgettable are of course works of Faberge. You will enjoy the beauty of the famous eggs and other works of art of Faberge and other craftsmen.

If you're ever in St. Petersburg, please don't miss the Faberge museum. It's an absolute delight. So beautiful. There's also a nice buffet like restaurant a few doors away.

We did not book in advance and like the other respondent, there was no queue. The museum is open 10.00 to 18.00, so maybe worth getting there early.
