We did a cruise of the Baltic with two days in St Petersburg as the highlight. Our guide Olga and driver Igor was incredible! I can’t say enough great things about them. Very accommodating of all our requests and delays due to bathroom breaks, shopping, diet restrictions and small kiddos. I’m amazed with knowledge that Olga had about EVERYTHING: buildings, art work, history, statues, food and everything else we asked about. Fantastic trip all around!! Trip was booked through SBP Tours.

We only had two days in St Petersburg. We were met at the port by Anna who was our tour guide for the two days. The group consisted of 16 cruise passengers and we were driven in a very comfortable minivan. I can't say enough about the knowledge displayed by Anna during the two days. She is like a walking Encyclopaedia. I can honestly say that the two days were well worth the money. Everything was organised for us by Crystalline Travel (all required paperwork to enter Russia). All entry fees to the attractions we visited were also taken care of and we didn't have to wait in long queues. Very punctual, we were picked up and dropped back off at the cruise terminal on time.

I was a first time traveler in Russia from the US. Kristina was exactly the guide I needed — welcoming, friendly, enthusiastic and energetic, and fluent in everything from history to art to architecture — not to mention the tricks of where and when to go quickly and efficiently. She seemed to be enjoying it all as much as I was. I considered her price quite reasonable. Highly recommended for an American (or any) visitor to St. Pete!

I had only two days in St. Petersburg and wanted to make the most of it. I spoke with Kristina and she had only one plan....to make me happy. She exceeded all of my expectations. I toured all of the major sites....Peterhof, Catherine's Palace, Tsars Bath House, Savior on the Spilt Blood Cathedral, Swan Lake at The Hermitage, The Hermitage plus many more sites....too many to name. She took me shopping for souvenirs, to lunch where the locals eat, made sure I got to my room and train station plus filled me with stories, historical facts, and lots of history of St. Petersburg. I cannot give her enough praise. She is a wonderful lady and if you want the best experience of your life while in St. Petersburg you should definitely use Crystalline Travel. You will not regret it!

We did not book our excursion through the cruise ship, instead after browsing the experience shared by other travelers in tripadvisor, we found a local tour operator who sent Kristina to guide us. We are a group of two, joining a max 16 people group excursion of a full 2 day tour. Turned out only 2 of us in this 'group', so paying a group price for a private tour. Kristina showed up, very cheerful, speaks good English, ( very important as a lot other guides in other groups have heavy accent). She is very knowledgeable, teaching History and English in university. Her passion and interest in history really enlighten us not like others who may only recite their prepared notes. She has been doing this side job since she was studying in college. Since she has her professional license, everything went smooth. We did not have to line up. She got our tickets quickly while other people lined up for buying tickets and getting through site. During the 2 full day tour, we talk like friends. We like to travel but are not outgoing type and usually we don't speak much. Kristina never gives us any feeling like strangers, or 'just do her job kind of attitude'. We are lucky to have her to guide us. She is the only best guide we've ever had. Thank you.
