Was a great visit there, however, most of the buildings there are under construction. I would love to return what that is all over and open.

This place has so much possibility and looks lovely from outside, but I was a bit disappointed. The ticket for foreigners costs 400 rubles and only gets you into the small museum, since the tower is currently closed for restoration. There is lots of ongoing...More

The castle is a good trip. The areas are accessible by foot and the town is good to walk around. Visit the Lavola yatch club and one can also stay there.

Castle on the island, great tower (under reconstruction in Aug'17), nice Musem (three floors), very interesting part cocncerned of Finnish times and Winter War (1939-40). Quite balanced exposition about 1944 part of war and Karelia reclamation by USSR.

At the time of our visit it was quite busy and very interesting, many people. We climbed up the tower (though there was a small queue) and the views were unparalelled.
